I know we have been having wonderfully warm weather here in Denver lately, but I wanted to go back to one of my favorite sessions from December 2015 (I'm a little behind here on blogging!). This session was on the morning after Christmas and it was FREEZING cold out, but absolutely gorgeous. This snow is the type of weather I dream about as a photographer - lightly falling, full white flakes, no wind - the perfect storm if you will. I've had many clients who want to wait until Spring, Summer or Fall for their family portraits, but I think this session makes a pretty good case for Winter. While I can't guarantee this perfect snow for your session, I can promise that Winter family portraits can be just as magical as any other season here in Colorado.
